The 10th National Golf Clubs General Managers Conference was held in Beijing on 12th to 15th October 2009, the subject of this year’s conference was “Review 25-year Golf in China-Retrospect, Inherit & Prospect”. This year is the 60 years anniversary of The People's Republic of China, and also the 10 years anniversary of National Golf Clubs General Managers Conference, therefore the scale and influence of this year’s conference is larger than ever before. 392 Board Chairmen and General Managers of 237 golf clubs, 230 golf association, Media, Sponsor representatives and VIPs, totaling up to 622 people attended the conference.

On the main forum held on October 13th morning, Board Chairman of Hainan Airline Group Mr. Chen Feng, Famous film director Mr. He Ping, Secretary of Central Socialism College Mr. Ye Xiaowen gave speeches which were highly praised by the attendees.

On October 13th afternoon, three sub-forums were held, each forum has a distinctive subject. On the forums, attendees discuss various issues and share experience on the golf industry, which provides a platform for attendees to communicate and interact with each other.

Chen Ya Xiong, Managing Director of Yalong Bay Golf Club, also the Secretary General of the NGCGMC, was overwhelmed with feelings while talking about the 10-year development of NGCGMC. It all began with an informal gathering of dozens of golf Club Managers, now the NGCGMC has become an authoritative and academic conference for the whole golf industry of China. Golf returning the Olympic family is going to bring more opportunities and challenges for the golf industry, the NGCGMC will take more responsibilities and make more contributions to the development of golf industry in China.
